Ceremony

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) on grass in the Perennial and Rose Garden. In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors at the same location. We want everyone to be comfortable, so please consider the outdoor venue when getting ready. Although the average high for mid-September in Ann Arbor is 75F/24C, mother nature can be unpredictable. Please check the weather forecast when deciding what to wear. If you burn easily, please consider wearing sunscreen. Ladies may wish to avoid high heels as they can sink in the grass (not to mention dancing at the reception!). Parking is free, and guests are welcome to explore the conservatory and gardens at no charge.

Reception

4pm, Dahlmann Campus Inn

The reception will be held on the 2nd floor in the Regency Ballroom. A cocktail hour will begin at 4pm, followed by a plated dinner and, of course, dancing. Free valet parking is offered by the hotel.

Driving directions from the ceremony to the reception:

From the Gardens driveway, turn left onto Dixboro Rd. Continue south for 1.8 mi and turn right at the first traffic light onto Geddes Rd. Continue west on Geddes (which becomes Fuller Rd) for 3.7mi. You will cross over US23 and pass Huron High School, North Campus of the University, and the Veteran and UM Hospitals. Just past the UM hospital, Fuller Rd dead ends to Huron Drive. Turn right onto Huron, and the Campus Inn hotel is located just past State St (the second traffic light) on the right hand side.
